BANFF Centre for Arts and Creativity has provided Epic Films for the Great Indoors by bringing the 2018-2019 film finalists to your living room for free. From record-breaking cyclists, skiers and skijorers, to the epic love story of a 97-year-old runner, these films are the best of the best.

The Best of Adventure Reels Collection of films are premiering now! Dropping new film festival compilations each week, you’ll have the option to pick which time slot works for you each Wednesday or Sunday. Then sit back, relax, and let the film festivities begin!
DC ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL—FREE
This is the largest environmental film festival in the world and won the 2017 DC Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Creative Industries. The organisers decided to make hundreds of films from the past 30 years available for free here. If you want to get stoked about the environment and learn about causes worth advocating for, this film festival is for you.
SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST FILMS—FREE
For a one-time online only film festival from April 27—May 6, South by Southwest is making a collection of films from the 2020 SXSW line-up available on Amazon Prime for free (no subscription required). You’ll find 35 features and shorts waiting for you and your quarantine squad. Also check out this retro website created by Mailchimp, showcasing 54 short films meant to be screened at SXSW. Shuffle it up for a randomly curated experience!
MOUNTAINFILM
Held every Memorial Day weekend, Mountainfilm documentary film festival aims to bring audiences to act on worthy causes. Bringing together a collective of world-class athletes, artists and world-changers, this film festival highlights issues surrounding political, social and environmental justice and more. LOCKDOWN SURF X FILM FESTIVAL—FREE
Missing the swells? Celebrating surf culture and the finest surf filmmakers across the globe, the Lockdown Surf X Film Festival is releasing a new film on their website each week. Each screening will be available for free for 24 hours, giving you the option to enjoy the film in your day pajamas or your night pajamas.
